Sydney’s winter festival of light: vivid sydney 2011

On Friday night I took the ferry over to Circular Quay and met Eric after work to take the train over to a stop near the Sydney Tower. We had dinner at the 360 Bar and Restaurant at the top of the tower, which circulated with a view all the way around the city as we ate.  It was beautiful and delicious, but the views had so much dark space from the ocean and the harbors that we could tell we MUST go back to see the views of the amazing working harbor here, in the day time, as well.
Back at Circular Quay, where we catch the ferry to go back to Manly, the Sydney Festival of Lights was going on. We got to enjoy and drink with some D.J. music at the Opera Bar and then check out all the light art installations and light show on the Opera House, which was really impressive. Check out our video to see for yourself!
