Hi there,
Well I got really backed up on all our photos and video footage and it was actually making me feel really bad that we are not updating anyone on what we are doing. I have finally got through MAY... yah! It's actually the least interesting as we explored around our Manly Peninsula pretty much all the May weekends. June is exciting... I'll be posting pics and videos from our first and only road trip (IN A CAR)to Newcastle, Hunter Valley - The Australian Wine Country and the Great Barrier Reef trip!!! And of course there will be more pics of our friends the cockatoos and videos of the funny lorikeets. I had the most amazing experience meeting up close, a 6 month old baby koala, when Dave and his family were in town and I can not wait to post the video!!
Keep in mind all the posts I just made are hidden behind the photos I posted a couple of days ago. Also, for those of you who had already read the Ku-ring-gai National Park post, I ended up posting a second video on there so you may want to go back and watch it. It's Eric's footage, this time. Oh and there is a new video showing where we live in relation to the Tasman Sea side of the Peninsula on the Together Again post.
And in the mean time here are some words, phrases, and things that we hear ALL THE TIME in Australia. And when I say all the time, I mean all the time. :-) See if you can figure out when they would be used or what they are or mean. Let me know what you think, and I will give you the answers in the next post. Cheers!!! - Ash
