Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, NSW, Australia

One of our first adventures in Australia was heading up to Ku-ring-gai National Park off the coast of Palm Beach (the northern beaches of Sydney.) We had a bit of an adventure, as we almost missed our boat back to town when we couldn't find the trail down to the dock (not the one we started at) we were intending on hiking to. Finally found the trail, and hiked quite a way DOWN, and then came to a point where the trail seemed to just end on a cliff. (unmarked trails seem to be common down under). Eric made the executive decision that we would have to RUN all the way back up the trail to where we cut off and then head back down the original trail we came up, as we were loosing sun and we had no other options. (I was in so place to execute any decision. ha!)  Running against the sun and kangaroos sneaking around in the woods all around us had me almost in a panic, as it was getting cold and we were quite aways up there in the bush. By the light of my iphone we made it back to the dock and all was well. That was a close one mate!

There are a few movies within the slideshow that I caught that evening.
I am trying out different ways of displaying all our photos and movies so bare with me!
Cheers!
