Ten days till Winter in Australia. A Saturday around Manly Beach

Over this weekend we spent time exploring our town of Manly. Since it was warm enough we went surfing on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday afternoon we walked over to Shelly Beach to try out some snorkeling. Eric ended up being the only one that went in. I hope to go at some point but it was a little too windy outside the water, by that time, for me. We LOVE Shelly Beach. It has a cute place to eat, wildlife, and is at the base of the National Park on Manly Peninsula thus has some cool places to hike up to for a view.

I added a couple of videos at the bottom of this post for you to see what the walkway down to Shelly Beach from Manly Beach is like. I also added a video from that evening of the kids and surfers enjoying the evening swells. Usually the area they were surfing in is flagged off for swimmers and kids (known as between the flag area), but at sunset the life guards leave and it's open reign for all. We were getting some nice waves through that evening. Enjoy!

These videos below are actually from Saturday... not Sunday.
