One blue sky winter morning in July, I went over to the Royal Botanical Gardens that divide the Sydney CBD and the Sydney harbor. The plan had been to go for a run but I ended up so mesmerized by the gardens that all I did was walk around, reading the signs and taking photos with my iphone. Aside from the serene beauty of the expansive gardens within such a busting city, I was throughly impressed with the amount of information one could learn just walking around and reading all the signs that go along with the different gardens and plant life. I only made it through a portion of the gardens before my iphone died, but enjoy the pictures I did make it out with. Not all the photos are in this post.

Wow! Great photos as usual. Don't know what it would take to import these plants - maybe some of them have already settled in to the Texas climate
