Big wave afternoon at Manly Beach

In July we had a lot of storms come through Sydney and with that came big wave days out of nowhere.  June had been a good time for Eric and I to surf in the mornings, but as winter carried on the waves got to the point that either no one was out there cause it was so flat, or only the seasoned surfers were out.  In any case, it makes for a great photo opportunity and the crashing waves against the tiny people on the cliffs becomes quite the spectacle. Enjoy the pics and make sure to look for the people to give you a good size perspective. As always, only some of the photos are in the post below.
