Today is Friday August 12, 2011 in Australia - but back in the states it is still August 11th. It's also my dear friend Tara's 30th birthday (8.11) but more importantly (I can confidently say Tara does not mind the light being taken off her today) the day is now the birthday of Aria Francis! Eric's first niece in a family of five grandsons was born late August 11th and we are so excited to welcome her! We heard earlier in the day that Andi was being induced and all day long I waited for updates. When I got the Skype call direct from Andi just shortly after Aria was born, it teared me up and for once - the time difference turned out in our favor as we were the only ones up and awake to get the exciting phone call. (11pm in the states was just mid afternoon Friday here.) We so wish we could be there for Aria's home coming and to join in on the big brother party for Finn. We can not wait to see pictures and more importantly we can not wait to meet her! Congratulations to Andi, Randy and Finn and welcome baby Aria. We love you already!!
