I'm going to miss these guys

When I come back from my U.S. trip at the beginning of Oct.  Eric will have already moved to the new apartment in Sydney City. No more cockatoo friends flying up to our balcony. I will actually miss these guys. They are so responsive and intelligent that I feel bad for just up and leaving one day, to never return. But at least I get to see my Ferrah. Eric and I have said that we feel much more connected with birds after having these guys around. We didn't think we were much of bird people, but now I'd definitely say I am. (however I refuse to be 'the bird lady). Tho I could never have a sole parrot for guilt of how alone they feel in solitude, maybe one day a pair of smaller type parrots would be fun. Just another animal to add to my every growing list oh and another one the cat would have a hay day with.
The cockatoo in the video kind of just started shaking on his own when I would put my hand out to him. So in the video I decided to give him treats while shaking, as to not annoy him with perpetual hand shaking.
