Our wild Cockatoo friends, caught doing funny things, on our balcony.

The love birds. I caught these two mates, that come by everyday,  preening each other, as they waited patiently for a treat.

It's a love hate relationship, I guess. I looked over this evening and noticed this going on.  Not quite sure what they are doing. I know they are mates as they are usually together, eat out of the same bowl if they have to, and were caught preening each other in the other video. Any bird people know?

The red eyes can indicate this is a female.

The cockatoos often stand at the door with their cute little eyes, asking to come in. In reference to the video above. In the first clip, I looked over and saw this one down on the ground with his head turned like my dog does when she wants something. In the second clip the door is open and the two guys are showing their displeasure with being out of food by messing with our surfboard leashes. They will do anything they can to get attention.

These guys will sit like this with their feathers puffed around their beak. We think either to keep warm, or to look sweet and cuddly in hopes of a treat.
