Hi Everyone! Sorry it has been a while since we did an update. We have not had internet actually only have a couple minutes left on our coin.
We will give a day to day description as soon as we can - but in the mean time those of you following us on the map can look up where we have been and where we are going! (and for us so we remember, hah!)
Sat. 2/20 Drove from Lake Wanaka to Queenstown. Stopped Arrowtown and checked out the town and got a coffee. Arrived at our hotel (the Glebe) where Tim and Andrea were staying)
Wedding that evening. Goergous Day!
Sun 2/21 6am Drove Lake Manapori and took a ferry to Doughtful Sound National Park. Bussed in a group of 12 over to the dock and caught our overnight cruise. Eric and I got to fish and see baby dolphins and so much more... it was an amazing day/ight. we will do an update about that full day and night for sure!
Mon 2/21 MAde it back to our car in Manapoi then drove back to Queenstown. We got a campsite in Queenstown (right in the center) and then rented Mountain bikes. We had to laugh cause we had dinner at a place called Lone Star with Texas food!
Tues 2/22 Checked into our hotel for the night in Queenstown then met up with the crew to do white water rafting (with Queenstown Rafting). We were on ShotoverRiver. It was turquoise like the lakes and so tasty and clean to drink! That evening we took the gondola to the top of the mountain over looking the city and did the luge a few times down the mountain. Around 10pm we met up with the crew for a "clean the fridge" evening at TIm and andreas pent house. Had about 30 people still from the wedding between the 10 Americans and all their Kiwi friends.
Wed. Drive to Franz joseph national park and stayed in a hostil. Took most of day. Rained all night. Woke up and hiked to base of glacier with tim and andrea. Hopped on the road and have been driving all day up to Kaiteirti in Able Tasman National Park on the coast. Finally some sun!
Just booked a camp site on the beach we got to go hike to! We'll tell you more about it soon

Our Endless Summer
Glad to see the update. Am in Big Bend where it snowed on Monday(!!) and internet connectivity is sporadic. Not surprised to see the reach of Texas spreading down under. But remember we had a UPR Prof. onboard when we were in Milford Sound. Need to go ck your route on the map...
