Arrival Day. 6am we got off the plane and about 8:30 we made it to Diego and Laura's. We forgot to mention this - but in the cab on the way to D and L's place Ashley discovered her legs to be swollen from the ankle up from the long plane flight.... really really swollen. It stayed like this until the following morning - so please feel free to gawk at the unsightliness of her legs in the photos. She sure did. Unfortunately the day was wet and grey. The rain nor the marshmallow legs stopped us tho and we set out to walk up the coastline beginning with Bondi Beach. We returned via bus, had a beer in a local pub and grabbed some dinner. All in all, a fulfilling first day to our pacifica journey. Most of the footage however went to video which you will hopefully see soon.
