This week Mommy and Daddy and me flew across the Pacific Ocean to Maui. Mommy and Daddy had never been there before, and me, well of course I have never been. I did really good on the plane. We flew Alaskan Air and we ended up with a free seat next to the window for my car seat. I sat in it some but mostly had fun sitting on Mommy and Daddy's lap. We left early in the morning and when we got to The Andaz, (that's the name of the Resort) it was barely lunch time so we had to wait on our room. But that was sure okay, cause the lobby was one of the prettiest places any of us had ever seen. It was raised up above the pools and all open to the ocean. When we arrived a nice lady brought us a cool towel (mmm my favorite, like in the bath tub) and some tasty green lemonade for mommy and daddy. There was even a cool grown up sand box in the middle of the lobby (my first time playing in sand!) with little koa wood chairs, that were just my size. Well, almost.
We had so much fun all week in Maui. I loved getting so much time with Daddy, too, since he was on his paternity leave. I swam in the pool (my second time in a pool), went in the ocean for the first time, ate sand for the first time, slept by the pool, tried some new foods from the delicious buffet, and loved listening to Daddy play his new ukulele. Yup, it's safe to say I'm an island girl. I can't wait to go back next year, when I car walk! Till then check out all our photos in the link below!
