Camping in Pfieffer Big Sur State Park

A visit to our wedding ceremony site

On the eve of our first anniversary we met a super sweet couple from southern California at Ventana's bar while waiting for our table. Wyndie, the wife, heard us say our name which was mistakend for their name "Hoylzer" and that led to her striking up a conversation with us. We found out that her husband is a firefighter and they live on a lake with four kids! We exchanged contacts and followed each other on Instagram over the year. A couple weeks before their camping trip back up to Big Sur she invited us to come down and meet up. With Big Sur being so popular all campgrounds and rooms under $700 a night were booked up we soon got an invitation to join them at their site which is how we ended up at  Pfieffer Big Sur State park this past weekend.
